5-24V Penetrating Touch Sensor Switch – 4-Mode Dimmable LED Module
IKSLED 5-24V Penetrating Touch Sensor Switch — Dimmable DIY Cabinet Light Control
Take full control of your cabinet, closet, or furniture lighting without drilling holes or exposing hardware. The IKSLED Partition Touch Sensor Switch mounts discreetly behind panels of wood, acrylic, plastic, or clear glass up to 5 cm thick, and responds to a simple touch or hand-sweep gesture right through the surface. No exposed contacts, no complicated wiring — just clean, intuitive lighting control for any DC 5–24 V LED setup.
⚠️ Important: Please secure the sensor firmly in place before turning on the power.
Key Features
- Penetrating Capacitive Sensing — Works through up to 5 cm of wood, plastic, acrylic, or transparent glass. (Note: mirrored or metallic-coated glass is not supported.)
- Hand-Sweep Gesture Detection — Wave your hand within 1–2 cm of the surface to trigger the switch without physical contact.
- 4 Selectable Functional Modes for maximum versatility.
- Ultra-Low Standby Draw — Only ~100 µA at rest, keeping energy use minimal.
- Wide Voltage Compatibility — DC 5 V to 24 V constant-voltage systems (input = output).
- Compact 32 × 32 mm Form Factor — Fits neatly inside cabinets, desks, and custom furniture builds.
- 1-Year Warranty | Certifications: CCC, CE
4 Functional Modes
- Touch On/Off + Hold for Continuous Stepless Dimming (with brightness memory — restores your last brightness level on next power-on)
- Touch On/Off Only — Simple toggle with no dimming
- Touch to Turn On, Release to Turn Off — Momentary/hold-to-illuminate mode
- Three-Stage Dimming — Cycle through Low / Medium / High brightness levels

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What surfaces can the touch sensor switch work through?
A: The IKSLED penetrating touch sensor switch is designed to work through non-conductive surfaces up to 5 cm thick, including wood, plastic, acrylic, and transparent glass. It does not work through mirrored or metallic-coated glass due to signal interference.
Q: What is the difference between touch mode and hand-sweep mode?
A: Touch mode activates when you place your finger directly on the surface above the sensor. Hand-sweep mode detects a gesture when your hand passes within approximately 1–2 cm of the surface, allowing you to trigger the switch without contact — ideal for when your hands are full or wet.
Q: Can I use this switch with any LED driver?
A: This module is compatible only with constant-voltage DC LED drivers (5 V, 12 V, or 24 V). It must not be used with constant-current LED drivers, as this can damage the module or the connected lighting.
Q: Does the switch remember the brightness level after power is cut?
A: Yes — when operating in Mode 1 (Touch On/Off + Hold for Stepless Dimming), the switch features brightness memory. It will restore the last-used brightness level the next time the light is turned on.
Q: How do I choose between the 4 functional modes?
A: The functional mode is selected during installation/setup. The module ships with a default mode, and modes can be changed by following the configuration procedure described in the included instructions. Custom factory-set modes are also available on request.
