This prevents the door from swinging shut or drifting on its own — particularly useful on boats, RVs, and hatches where vibration or movement could otherwise cause the door to move unexpectedly.

Q: Is this hinge compatible with the Southco C6-9?

A: Yes. This black plastic position control marine butt hinge is a direct functional replacement for the Southco C6-9. It shares the same 150-degree detent mechanism and similar mounting footprint, making it a straightforward drop-in substitute.

Q: Can this hinge be used in outdoor or marine environments?

A: Absolutely. The hinge is constructed from corrosion-resistant nylon plastic with a stainless steel pivot tube, making it well-suited for marine, RV, and outdoor cabin applications where exposure to moisture, salt air, and the elements is a concern.

Q: How many hinges come in one pack?

A: Each pack contains 4 pieces of the black plastic 150° detent position control butt hinge, providing a complete set for most standard door or hatch installations.

Production & Packaging Notice

To maintain high stock availability and fast shipping times, our items are sourced from multiple verified manufacturing facilities.
