Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are these carbon fiber mirror covers compatible with all VW Golf 7 models?
A: These real carbon fiber side mirror cover caps are designed specifically for the VW Golf 7 MK7 and MK7.5 GTI R from 2014 to 2019 — but only the version equipped with a turn signal light in the mirror housing. If your Golf 7 does not have the integrated turn signal mirror version, these covers will not fit correctly. Always compare your existing mirror housing with the product images before purchasing.
Q: Do I need any special tools to install these VW Golf 7 carbon fiber mirror covers?
A: No special tools are required. These covers use a direct clip-on fitment, meaning they snap directly over your existing mirror housing once the original cover has been removed. The installation process is straightforward and can typically be completed at home in just a few minutes per side.
Q: Are these made from real carbon fiber or a carbon fiber look-alike wrap/vinyl?
A: These are made from genuine real carbon fiber combined with an ABS backing — not a vinyl wrap, printed film, or carbon fiber pattern plastic. You get the authentic lightweight carbon weave appearance and texture that sets your Golf 7 apart from standard factory trims.
Q: Will these mirror covers fit a Golf 7 from a different country or market?
A: The VW Golf 7 can be produced differently depending on the market or region, which means mirror housing shapes can vary. We strongly recommend comparing your existing mirror cover with the product photos before placing an order. If you have any doubts about fitment, please reach out to us with photos of your current mirror housing and we will help confirm compatibility.
