Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What size chlorine or bromine tablets does this floating dispenser accept?
A: This floating pool chlorine dispenser is designed to work with standard chlorine or bromine tablets and sticks. It is compatible with both 1-inch and 3-inch tablets commonly used for swimming pools and spas, making it a versatile choice for most pool maintenance routines.
Q: Can I use this chlorine floater in a hot tub or spa?
A: Yes! This floating chlorine dispenser is suitable for use in in-ground pools, above-ground pools, spas, and hot tubs. Its adjustable output vent lets you control the chemical release rate to suit the smaller water volume of a spa or hot tub.
Q: How do I adjust the chlorine output on this pool floater?
A: Simply rotate the adjustable vent at the base of the floater to open or close the vents. Opening the vents wider increases the chemical release rate, while closing them reduces it — giving you full control over your pool's chlorine or bromine levels.
Q: Does the thermometer on this pool floater require batteries?
A: No, the built-in thermometer display on this floating chlorine dispenser is a standard analog (non-digital) thermometer — it requires no batteries and provides an instant, at-a-glance water temperature reading at all times.
