Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is this PSP battery cover compatible with the PSP 1000 series?

A: No — this black replacement battery cover is specifically designed for the Sony PSP 2000 and PSP 3000 series. It is not compatible with the PSP 1000 (Phat) model, as the dimensions and latch design differ between generations.

Q: Does the PSP 2000/3000 replacement battery cover require any tools to install?

A: No tools are needed. The battery cover uses a simple clip-on mechanism. Just align it with the battery compartment on your PSP 2000 or 3000 and press gently until it snaps into place.

Q: Will this cover affect my PSP's battery performance?

A: Not at all. This is a purely cosmetic replacement cover for the battery compartment door. It does not interact with the battery itself and will not affect how your PSP charges or operates.
